<p><em>Diabetes mellitus is an increase in blood glucose levels, the occurrence of DM can be caused by several factors, such as age, gender, BMI and family history of DM. This study aims to determine the relationship between risk factors and preventive predictors of Diabetes Mellitus in adolescents at SMAN 5 Makassar. The research design used is a quantitative research method using a multiple correlation design with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used stratified sampling with a total sample of 106 teenagers at SMAN 5 Makassar. Research data was taken by distributing questionnaires on risk factors and preventive predictors. The test conducted in this study was the Fisher Exact Test. The results of the Fisher Exact Test showed that there was no relationship between risk factors (age, gender, BMI and family history of DM) with preventive predictors such as knowledge of DM, diet and exercise patterns of DM (age p-value 1.000, gender p-value 0.190 , family history p-value 0.664, BMI p-value 0.397), diet (age p-value 1.000, gender p-value 0.743, family history p-value 0.743, BMI p-value 0.701 and exercise pattern (age p- value 0.052, gender p-value 0.211, family history p-value 1.000, BMI p-value 0.012) The conclusion of this study shows that predictor factors in adolescents such as knowledge of DM, eating patterns and exercise patterns have no relationship with risk factors for DM incidence It is hoped that this research can serve as literature for future researchers.Further research is expected to be able to see the effectiveness of education in the early prevention of diabetes mellitus in adolescents</em><em>.</em></p>Rima MelatiNur Wahyuni Munir Nur Ilah PadhilaRahmat Hidayat

<p><em>The influence of knowledge on child development is very important because mothers have sufficient knowledge and high education will pay more attention to the development of their children. On the other hand, if the mother does not pay attention to the child's development and does not provide stimulation to its development, the child will experience developmental delays. using a descriptive research design conducted at PAUD Kb Permata Bunda Nambo Village from July to August 2022. The determination of the sample was carried out using a total sampling technique with a sample size of 38 respondents. Data analysis using univariate analysis for frequency distribution. The results of this study indicate that the majority of respondents have less knowledge as many as 9 respondents (23.7) and 29 respondents with good knowledge (76.3). Consisting of good gross motor development as many as 28 people (73.7%) who lacked as many as 10 people (26.3%), good fine motor skills as many as 24 people (63.2%) who lacked as many as 14 people (36.8 %), good language development as many as 22 people (57.9%) who lacked as many as 16 people (42.1%), good social development of children as many as 32 people (84.2%) who lacked 6 people (15, 8%). The conclusion of this study most of the respondents have a low level of knowledge on gross motor development, fine motor development, language development and social development in children. <p><em>Dementia is one of the global health problems with a total of more than 55 million cases in the world and more than 60% of them live in low to middle class countries. Adequate family support will inhibit the decline in cognitive function.This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between family support and the incidence of dementia in the elderly in the working area of the Bontomarannu Health Center. The design used in this study is descriptive analytic using a cross-sectional study approach. The sample included in this study was random sampling with a sample of 60 respondents. The test used in this research is using chi square. The results of this study indicate that family support for moderate family dysfunction is 67% compared to severe family dysfunction 10% and good 23%, severe cognitive impairment is 43% more than with 30% moderate cognitive impairment and 27%. There is a significant relationship between the relationship between family support and the incidence of dementia in the elderly in the Bontomarannu Community Health Center (p value 0.001 < 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between family support and the incidence of dementia in the elderly in the Bontomarannu Community Health Center. Therefore, it is hoped that the puskesmas can increase counseling to families about the importance of providing support to the elderly and then for the elderly and their families to be active in participating in posyandu activities, and routinely conducting health checks.</em></p>Adila Nurdefianty AdilaSuhermiRahmawati Ramli

<p><em>Nursing services have an important role in improving the quality of health services. Increased public awareness of the quality of quality nursing services is an important factor in the development of hospitals. Improving the quality of nursing care services is closely related to the implementation of the management function of the head of the room as illustrated by the documentation of nursing care. This study aims to determine the effect of the management function of the head of the room on the completeness of documentation for nurses in Labuang Baji Hospital, South Sulawesi Province. The research design used in this study is a descriptive design with a cross sectional approach. The sample provisions were carried out by total sampling technique with a sample of 45 respondents in the Baji Dakka, Baji Ampe, and Baji Nyawa. The data analysis used in this study was the statistical analysis of the T-test. The results showed that there was an influence between the management function of the head of the room on the completeness of the documentation of nurses in the inpatient room at Labuang Baji Hospital, South Sulawesi Province (p-value 0,001) <0,05. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence between the management function of the head of the room on the completeness of the documentation of nurses in the inpatient room at Labuang Baji Hospital, South Sulawesi Province. <p><em>Dysmenorrhea is a complex phenomenon in the human body that occurs due to uterine contractions characterized by an increase in prostaglandins, which can cause a feeling of discomfort. about 89.5% experience menstrual pain disorders, especially for developing countries. This study aims to how the behavior of adolescent girls in overcoming dysmenorrhea in SMA Negeri 4 Enrekang. The design of the study used is a qualitative research design with a total of informants that is 9 people in the area of SMA Negeri 4 Enrekang the results of this study indicate that there are symptoms experienced when informants experience dysmenorrhea namely, impaired activity, lack of concentration in class, emotional disturbances, fainting, and bleeding and behavior of adolescent girls in overcoming dysmenorrhea namely, knowledge, attitudes, and actions. The conclusion of this study is that it has been known that the experience experienced when adolescent girls experience dysmenorrhea include symptoms at the time of experiencing dysmenorrhea and there is the behavior of adolescent girls in overcoming dysmenorrhea. <p><em>Adolescents will go through various changes in themselves both physically, emotionally and psychologically. Associated with the physical changes that occur, adolescents must be able to accept their physical condition and use their bodies effectively. Physical changes that occur in adolescents are related to body image. A teenager is said to have a positive body image if he is satisfied with his current physical condition. This study aims to determine the relationship between body image and self-esteem behavior in young women in Punranga Village. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional study approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique as many as 66 people from a total population of 80 people and used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire to retrieve information. The analysis uses the Chi-Square test as a tool to test the relationship between variables with a significance level of = 0.05. The results obtained 23 respondents who have a negative body image, of which there are 3 respondents (13.0%) who have low self-esteem and 20 respondents (87.0%) who have high self-esteem behavior. As for the positive body image, there are 43 respondents, of which 17 respondents (39.5%) have low self-esteem behavior and 26 respondents (60.5%) have high self-esteem behavior. The results of statistical tests with Chi-Square obtained p = 0.026 (<0.05). The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between body image and self-esteem in young women in Punranga Village. <p><em>Health services by hospitals in Indonesia in the digitalization era are becoming a competition between government and private hospitals. One indicator of the quality of nursing services is patient satisfaction. The caring attitude given will get a sense of satisfaction from the patient. This study aims to determine the relationship between caring behavior and patient satisfaction in the Baji Nyawa treatment room at Labuang Baji Hospital. The design of this study was cross sectional, the sampling technique used was total sampling technique. The sample in this study amounted to 65 respondents. The statistical test carried out was Fisher Exact. The results showed that there was a relationship between nurse caring behavior and patient satisfaction with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05) with a good criterion caring behavior value of 60 patients (92.3%) and patients who were satisfied as many as 59 patients (90.8%). The conclusion of this study is that the caring behavior of nurses has a relationship with patient satisfaction, so the better the caring given by the nurse, the level of patient satisfaction will increase. Therefore, it is expected to maintain and improve the caring behavior of nurses so that patients feel satisfied and continue to choose to use the services at Labuang Baji Hospital.</em></p>JusamaliahBrajakson SiokalHaeril AmirTutik Agustini

<p><em>Loneliness is a problem experienced by a person, which is unpleasant and absorbs in the form of sadness, helplessness, hopelessness and emptiness. This condition is where people feel left out of their group and are not cared about by the people around them. Family support is the most important part in helping elderly people solve all the problems they face. If there is a relationship from the family, self-confidence will increase and motivation to face problems that occur will increase. Family support is a factor that influences the well-being of the elderly. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and loneliness in the elderly. The research used is quantitative research with a research design using a cross sectional study. The sampling technique used was Purposive Sampling with a sample size of 64 samples. The data analysis carried out in this research was bivariate analysis. The relationship test was carried out using the Chi Square statistical test with a significance level of <0.05. The results of this study show that there is insufficient family support for 50 (78%) elderly people, while there is good family support for 14 (22%) elderly people. Loneliness in the elderly who are included in the unequal category is 12 (19%) elderly, while those who are included in the equal category are 52 (81%) elderly. There is a significant relationship between family support for loneliness in the elderly in the working area of the Bontoimarannu Community Health Center, Gowa Regency and p value = 0.00 (p < 0.05. The conclusion of this research is that more than half of the elderly have less family support, most of the elderly experience equality in the Bontomarannu Community Health Center area, Gowa Regency. <p><em>Chemotherapy is a pharmacological therapy that can be given to cancer patients. Giving chemotherapy to patients can cause effects, one of which is nausea and vomiting, but this effect can be alleviated by giving non-pharmacological therapy using ginger aromatherapy therapy. This study aims to determine whether there is a ginger aromatherapy agent on reducing nausea after chemotherapy for cancer patients in the Mawar Room, Pelamonia Hospital Tk.II Makassar. The design of this study used a pre-experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design with purposive random sampling and a sample size of 32 respondents. Bivariate test using Wilcoxon test (α = < 0.05). The results of the study from 32 respondents obtained a bad category on the nausea scale as much as 71.9% and a good category as much as 28.1% before being given ginger aromatherapy then it became 100% with a good category after being given ginger aromatherapy therapy with a p value of 0.001. The conclusion of this study shows that ginger aromatherapy is beneficial for cancer patients after chemotherapy to reduce the scale of nausea and vomiting.
